Softball

*NEW FOR 2020 - ALL SOFTBALL DIVISIONS WILL PLAY OTHER ZLL TEAMS DURING THE SEASON, AND WILL NOT PLAY "INTERLEAGUE" AGAINST OTHER LOCAL LEAGUES FOR THE REGULAR SEASON.

Minors (8-10 yr olds) Kid/Coach Pitch

Majors (10-12 yr olds) Kid Pitch

  • 8 year olds will be placed in the Minors division
  • 9 year olds will be placed in the Minors division
  • 10 year olds will have the option to play in either Majors or Minors. If parents have a preference, they may choose which division the child plays in. If the parent does not have a preference, the player will be placed in a division based on evaluation at Showcase Day.
  • 11 year olds will be placed in the Majors division. 
  • 12 year olds will be placed in the Majors division

Special requests to play for a certain coach or play on the same team as a friend will not be granted. Requests to play in a certain League or on a certain team in regards to siblings will be decided upon a case by case basis. All rosters are cleared and reformed each season.


BASEBALL

AA National League (8-9 yr olds) Kid/Coach Pitch

AA American League (8-9 yr olds) Kid Pitch

AAA National League (9-10 yr olds) Kid Pitch

AAA American League (9-11 yr olds) Kid Pitch

Majors (10-12 yr olds) Kid Pitch

50-70 (12-13 yr olds) Kid Pitch + Interleague

Juniors (13-14 yr olds) Kid Pitch + Interleague

  • All 8 year olds play in the AA league - Parents may choose between American/National League due to the rule and skill differences between the leagues. If the parent does not have a preference, the player will be placed in a division based on evaluation at Showcase Day.
  • 9 year olds are eligible to be selected to a AAA division team. If not selected in the AAA division, 9 year olds will be placed on a AA team. Parents may choose between American/National League due to the rule and skill differences between the leagues. If the parent does not have a preference, the player will be placed in a division based on evaluation at Showcase Day.
  • 10 year olds are eligible to be selected to a Majors division team. If not selected in the Majors division, 10 year olds will be eligible to be selected to a AAA American League team. If a 10 year old is not selected in either Majors or AAA American League, the player will be placed on a AAA National League team.
  • 11 year olds are eligible to be selected to a Majors division team. If not selected in the Majors division, 11 year olds will play in the AAA American League.
  • 12 year olds will be placed in a Majors division.
    • If a 12 yr old wished to bypass Majors and play in the 50/70 League, they may elect to do so after the registration process.
  • 13 year olds will be placed in the 50/70 division. 13 year olds may also request to play in the Juniors division after registration. This request will be granted on a case by case basis depending on the number of 13 and 14 year old players.
  • 14 year olds will be placed in the Juniors division.

For leagues with overlapping ages, players will be evaluated to determine his/her level of competition.  Teams are created in each League to equally distribute players based on their evaluation scores.
